After nine weeks of flirting, drama and tears, the Love Island 2023 final is upon us.

Maya Jama will return to our screens tonight (Monday 13th March) as the ITV2 series crowns its 2023 winter winners.

Yesterday's ‘meet the parents’ episode (Sunday 12th March) saw the islanders' families descend on the villa, and Shaq Muhammad's relatives weren't too happy with Tanya Manhenga's Casa Amor antics.

In the end, however, we said goodbye to Jessie Wynter and Will Young, leaving the remaining cast members Shaq and Tanya, Samie Elishi and Tom Clare, Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall, and Sanam Harrinanan and Kai Fagain to battle it out for the crown in tonight’s final.

So, what time does the final episode air? Here's everything you need to know.

The Love Island Final 2023 will air on Monday 13th March.

Thankfully, the reality show will be back in a few months time with its 10th season as we head back to Mallorca for the classic summer season.

Is the Love Island final live?

While there are parts of the Love Island final that are pre-recorded, like the contestants' dance class and prom night, the rest of the show is filmed live.

Therefore, any parts of the episode where Maya Jama is presenting and chatting to the finalists will be live – so let's hope it goes smoothly!

How long is the Love Island final?

The final will kick off at 9pm and last longer than a usual 60-minute episode.

Instead, the final episode will run until 10:35pm, with the show's host Maya Jama taking viewers through the islanders' last day in the villa as well as speaking to the finalists live from South Africa.

At the end of the episode, this year's winning couple will be announced and awarded £50,000.

Love Island airs on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm. Previous seasons of Love Island are available on BritBox – you can sign up for a 7-day free trial.
